We had early dismissal due to this storm. I didn't know it was so threatening until I got the text. I hope your area is OK. I had to go out in the rain and pick up a could fallen over plants but for the most part everything was fine. I admit I enjoyed the rest. I finished a book on the sofa, luxury.
Your haiku is well-constructed and it clearly creates an image; in a few lines, it says a lot. I hope that you stay safe, and that the day turns out to be simply an enjoyable day off.

ReplyDeleteBe safe. Thank you for sharing your haiku. I hope you can do something to distract from the worry. Thinking of you and your neighbors.
ReplyDeleteA day at home can be fun but I'm not so sure how fun it is with tornadoes looming. Hope everyone in your area was safe and tornado free.
